The Duomo, Florence

Although the official name is the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, it is also known as The Duomo. Its octagonal dome, which we reproduce here, can be seen from almost anywhere in the city. And it will remain in your retina, many many days after leaving Florence.
